GreatStreet Realty Partners LLC is a retail real estate brokerage firm based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois dedicated to providing the highest level of service to clients in the retail real estate arena.   

GreatStreet (GSR) has brought together a team of experienced, knowledgeable professionals committed to service clients with strong working relationships, market knowledge, and the tenacity to reach the clients brick & mortar goals. 

GSR represents national and regional retailers, developers seeking new locations, property owners seeking to sell and or lease retail real estate, property sales, brokerage & advisory services. 

A primary focus of GSR’s brokerage has been regional tenant representation.  Founding principals Don Lyon & Bill Argall formerly with InterState Commercial Real Estate and Matt Moran & Jon Reese formerly of Matthew J. Moran & Associates joined to form GreatStreet focused on retail tenant brokerage services in metro Chicago & regional tenant representation.  

Over the team’s careers, they have been involved in hundreds of deals accounting for millions square feet, in major markets throughout the United States, including Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Columbus, New Orleans, Boston MA, Buffalo NY, Hartford CT, Cleveland, St. Louis & Kansas City.

WILLIAM J. ARGALL
Principal

William J. Argall is one of the founding members of GreatStreet Realty Partners.  Prior to forming GreatStreet Realty Partners, Bill was with InterState Commercial Real Estate, Inc.  Bill specializes in leasing of shopping centers and retail tenant representation.  Among the clients he has served are Lands’ End, Zany Brainy, Harris Bank, Recreational Equipment, Inc., Lifetime Fitness, Old Navy, Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Nash Finch Companies, The Tile Shop, LLC and Ashley Furniture Homestores.

Prior to joining InterState Commercial in 1997, Bill  was a Vice President for CB Commercial Real Estate Group specializing in retail properties.  While at CB Commercial, Bill served on the Chicago Region Advisory Board; was among the Top Five Retail Brokers, Chicago Region; and a member of the CB Commercial Chairman’s Club.

Bill is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds real estate licenses in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota.

DONALD C. LYON
Principal

Donald C. Lyon is one of the founding members of GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  Among the clients he has served are PETsMART, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Eastern Mountain Sports, Wild Oats Markets, Wal-Mart, Staples Office Superstore and Ulta Cosmetics & Salon.

Prior to forming GreatStreet Realty Partners, Don was one of the founding partners for InterState Commercial.  Don was Vice President for Koll/Bradford Joint Venture.  Don was a partner in Bradford’s Retail Tenant Services Program, assisting retailers in their site selection and store development process in Chicago and the Midwest.

From December 1986 through July 1993, Don was a Vice President for CB Commercial Real Estate, specializing in the leasing of shopping centers, and the representation of retail tenants.  While at CB Commercial, Don served on the CB Retail Tenant Advisory Board in 1992 and 1993; was a CB Commercial National Retail Focus Group member from 1991 to 1993; was among the Top Five Retail Brokers, Chicago Region, from 1988 to 1992; and was the CB Commercial Rookie of the Year, Retail Properties, Nationwide in 1988.

Don holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  A licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

MATTHEW J. MORAN
Principal

Matthew J. Moran is one of the founding members of GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  Matt has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate field, representing national and regional retailers, as well as developers.

Prior to starting GreatStreet Realty Partners with Bill Argall, Don Lyon, and Jon Reese, Matt founded and incorporated in 1979 Matthew J. Moran & Associates, Inc., an Illinois Corporation.  Their representation of retailers included:  Barnes & Noble, BoRics Haircare, Expo Design Center, Home Depot, Factory Card & Party Outlet, Frank’s Nursery & Crafts, Gander Mountain, Kmart, Office Max, Rhodes Furniture, TJX Companies (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, A.J. Wright, HomeGoods), Toys ‘R Us and Walgreens.  Over the years, Matthew J. Moran & Associates, Inc. was involved in hundreds of transactions comprising in excess of 15 million square feet of retail space, located in major markets throughout the United States including Chicagoland SMSA, Milwaukee, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Boston, Buffalo, Hartford, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Kansas City.

In addition to their retailer representation endeavors, recently Matthew J. Moran & Associates, Inc. was involved in a number of investment sales transactions.  These properties consisted of free-standing single tenant buildings (triple net leases), conventional strip shopping centers, and enclosed malls.  The sale prices ranged from 5 million to 58 million dollars per transaction.

Matt is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds real estate broker licenses in Illinois, Minnesota, and Missouri.

JONATHAN REESE
Principal

Jon is a founding member of GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  He has been involved since 1988 in the commercial real estate business.

Prior to establishing GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC; Jon was a principal with Matthew J. Moran & Associates, Inc.  While there he specialized in shopping center leasing and tenant representation.  Among the clients he has served are A.J. Wright, Bo-Rics Haircare, Gander Mountain Sporting Goods, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Roly Poly Rolled Sandwiches, T.J. Maxx and Walgreens.  In addition to tenant representation, Jon has successfully leased over 3 million square feet of shopping center space for developers.

Jon is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Salesperson.

TIM MILLER
Associate

Tim is a Sales Associate with GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  Tim's primary focus is brokerage and retail tenant representation.  Prior to joining GreatStreet Realty Partners, Tim worked for JMA an independent music marketing & promotion company.  Tim was responsible for music promotion, radio advertising and marketing.  Prior to the music business, Tim worked as a Sales Manager for the West Vail Lodge in Vail Colorado.

Tim received his Bachelors degree in Communications from Colorado State University and is an licensed Illinois Real Estate Salesperson.

ANDREA L. SHERMAN
Account Executive

Andrea L. Sherman is an Account Executive for GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  Andrea’s primary responsibilities include researching and providing market information to clients, preparing committee presentations, implementing software upgrades and training.  Andrea is also responsible for the coordination of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) convention in Las Vegas and Chicago.

Prior to joining GreatStreet Realty Partners, Andrea worked for InterState Commercial from 1997-2003.  She worked at Koll Management from 1995 to 1997 as the Assistant to the President.  Andrea was responsible for coordinating marketing/office leasing information with the regional presidents throughout the United States.  Prior to Koll Management, Andrea worked as an Assistant to the Property Manager at Rubloff from 1992-1997.  Andrea is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Salesperson.

TAWNYA GLON
Administrative Assistant

Tawnya Glon is the Office Administrator for GreatStreet Realty Partners, LLC.  Tawnya’s primary responsibilities include assisting in preparation of marketing tools, organizing client relations, supplying administrative support and researching properties.

Prior to joining GreatStreet Realty Partners, Tawnya worked for Matthew J. Moran & Associates, Inc. from 2000—2003 as the Office Manager.  Tawnya was responsible for the day to day activities of the office, assisting the brokers, creating the marketing materials and the coordination of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) convention in Las Vegas and Chicago.  Tawnya has completed the coursework necessary for a real estate license.
